The Great Google Wave Invite Giveaway

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

Do you want an invite to Google Wave?

I’m giving one away for free.  [beard]

All you need to do is take/draw a picture of anything and reply to the comments on this post. Be clever (e.g. Something to do with Wave? Friday 13th? Abstract?)

No holds barred. [pants]

The best picture wins. Prize is likely to be awarded to the most imaginative contributor.

The winner will also be my blog header for a short time.

Entries close at 10pm GMT on Friday 13th November. Winner will be notified within 24 hours of competition closing.

Thanks!

Now to think of something creative to allow me to give it away on here.

Any suggestions?

Looks like it could be useful for a lot of things, particularly band stuff.

POP Peeper

Sunday, September 13th, 2009

More than one e-mail address to administer?

Sick of Outlook/Thunderbird/Other E-Mail client?

POP Peeper

POP Peeper is an application I found shortly after getting my new laptop. My old Acer laptop used to have an LED that lit up every time a new email arrived.
The Dell Inspiron 1501 I got to replace it after it kicked the bucket was better in every respect except from this.

POP Peeper fills the crack nicely.

It’ll check your email for you at specified intervals over a huge range of services and store them all in the same place. It’ll also alert you instantly.

It looks like this.
Not very glamorous but super functional.

It’s yet to let me down yet.
